Our cars are stuck.

I probably should have seen this coming, with the snow and all, but *I* have a Jeep! They never get stuck. I keep telling myself this over and over again as I'm trying to push the jeep out of the driveway and it's sliding sideways.

This never happened with my 2007 Jeep JK. I would hit a locker button and it would be unstuck. In fact, the only time that Jeep ever became stuck was because I high centered it on a boulder the size of a smart car on the Rubicon Trail. That doesn't quite compare to the measly 4 inches of snow that is crippling my beastly CJ7 now.

Thirty minutes and 1000 calories worth of pushing later, I find myself sliding around the road wondering why it handles so poorly in the snow. This Jeep was built for mud and snow and I've obviously been duped into buying a lemon.

I finally get the kids to school and as I'm chatting with a fellow Jeeper in the parking lot about my Jeep's poor performance, he asks a question that will now be engrained in my mind forever:

"Did you lock your hubs?"

Damn.

When I was reading that I thought lock the hubs? It happens dont feel bad.

I was just surprised he was trying to make the general comparison of his Jeep to a Wrangler jk.:wtf:
But I guess in the end his 2wd Jeep got him to the same place his 4wd locked Wrangler would have. :D:p

HAHAHAHA! Funny. I bet you feel good about your CJ now.

No, I'm quite happy with my CJ, other than the gas mileage. I just felt a bit sheepish because I totally forgot about the hubs. I even looked under the Jeep to see if the front driveshaft was turning, (it was) so I felt double dumb.

Just for fun, here is a pic of my CJ in the desert:

They both are fun in their own ways.

You gotta love those brain farts. Our maybe you are blonde:laugh:
