'79 CJ5, 258 I6, T150 w/Dana20, Dana30 front and AMC20 rear. My first Jeep! I'm looking forward to doing some minor upgrades and restoration while enjoying the ride.
I have the Moser 1-piece axle kit and a Lube Locker rear diff cover gasket in the shopping cart, I just want to do one last check with you guys that have done the 1-piece axles:

what else do I need to order?

I just don't want to keep going back to get "one more thing"....

Thanks

From what I remember ( 25 years ago ) they send everything you need for the installation.

If you are running wheel spacers you may need longer wheel studs.

You'll need a section of steel pipe to 'slide' the bearing and retainer on.
Get that at the hardware store.

No wheel spacers, and my mechanic will be doing this job, I don't have any of the bigger tools for stuff like this and I work too much.

I was thinking of any stuff I need to order besides the kit like the diff cover gasket...

Well if you don't have locker or LSD now's the time do it. I put in a lunch box locker when I did mine. I wish I had done it to front when I went through it.
