AC for 76 CJ7

I have a 76 CJ7 with a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l . What are my options for AC/heater? Will the compressor work on a GM 350 (bracket and belt change minimally I assume) if I ever need to change? What kind of price tag am I looking at to buy and install?

Your best bet is a full after market kit. There are several companies that have them. Below are a couple of links. Piecing together a system can be complicated, but I have seen differnet parts available on eBay. You can expect to shell out $700 to $1200 for any setup. I too plan to add A/C to mine.......someday.
