I’ve got the Old Man Emu YJ lead conversion going for my CJ7 . I got a ridiculous deal on a set of springs; buddy was parting his Jeep out and had the YJ springs essentially still “in the box”, I picked up all four for $200.

Problem is, the front springs have one less leaf, so I purchased the OME add a leaf.

Going to put it on and noticed all the leaves in the stack have a yellow anti-friction pad, the additional leaf does not. Do I need to add these pads as well? Do they need some kind of grease before I install them?

Lucky you, my OME springs didnt come with snazzy yellow anti friction pads. I think you'll be fine without one on the new spring ;)
