AMC 20 thrust block and Locker install help, info, experiance?

The thrust block that is pinned between the axles in the centre of the spiders by the cross shaft, is it retained or disscarded with a locker install?
The instructions with my Lokka dont mention the block,
Is the thrust block cridical to the otter bearing preload?

You keep it unless you are installing 1 piece axles. And if you are not, you will be soon. Almost as sure as death and taxes.

Most 'locker' installations are a carrier change. So, NO-You don't keep it.
BUT-With the maker your using. I would call them.
X2 on get'n 1 piece axles-Go with Moser. They are the BEST!
UPDATE-Just look'd at the LOKKA site, couldn't find a PN for the AMC mod 20 rear?????
