I have an AMC 360 in my '77 CJ5 . Based off the casting numbers I know it is somewhere between a 1970 to 1984. I contacted the company that built the motor and all they can tell me is it was bored 30 over and left their shop without a top end. It now has an Edelbrock R4B intake and a Edelbrock 650 carb. I am trying to figure out how to get parts (plugs, wires, t-stat etc.) for this motor. All the auto part stores want to know what it's out of. I know it's not stock Jeep, but what do I do for common parts?

Also, is there a conversion from the mechanical oil pressure gauge to an electric one? Was the stock oil pressure gauge mechanical?

Thanks for any help.

You could use '73 AMC Ambassador wagon with a 360 to get parts. And it didn't come with a mechanical oil gauge, someone has changed it. Just get a sending unit and gauge for a AMC 304 CJ.
