No I'm not going to hotrod my '75. I did add a decent Auto Meter Tach. and that started me wondering about what the redline or rev. limit is for an AMC 360. I've done some Google searching with several different words to ask the question, but haven't been successful in finding an answer.

On a fresh stock 360 = 6000 rpm, 21,000 divided by the stroke (3.44)
All else depends on the engine condition and build specs.
The safe answer would be 4500 rpm

Just curious, where does the 21,000 come from? 4500 seems low, but I'm used to looking at motorcycle redline which is a whole different thing.

The standard for a heavy duty engine is a piston speed of 4000 feet per minute = 2400, minus 15% for a stock engine “2100” (rounded up).

Thank you I kinda thought it was some engineering standard.

4500 might be a little low, but I would keep it under 5000 to help keep things together. :D

Well lets see 2,800 is 65, so 4500 would be 104.5. :) A little slow for a hotrod like a CJ5 , but I guess it's possible to control myself.
