No real trip report, just some messing around down in the Snake River canyon...this is my backyard.

Im always kind of disappointed how trail pictures always turn out. This thing isn't near as easy as it looks and is much steeper then the pics indicate.

People say there aren't any rocks to play on down here...they just dont know where to go.

This is the small lake at the bottom of Devil's Corral. It's a narrow rock ledge that takes you down into the corral that's surrounded by cliffs. You dont get back out of this thing unless you have lockers at both ends. Ascension and descension requires a pretty narrow axle width. I dont ever feel comfortable going down there with just one vehicle....but I do it anyways. If anything happens your done. There is no cell service down in there and even a broken hub will keep you from getting back out.

And of course, some gratuitous Jeep shots.

Fantastic pictures! Looks like a great place to wheel, and it definitely is a "real trip report!"

Thanks CJ. There are some really good places around here, the Devil's Corral area is a HUGE area owned by BLM and it's just outside of Twin Falls. I wish I had gotten more pics...I always leave home with the best intentions of taking lots of pictures, but ultimately the driving takes precedents and I end up forgetting I even brought the camera. :D

Feel free to move this to 'trips and Reports' if that's where it goes :chug:

Very nice!!!!! Would love to see that someday. Thanks for the pictures

Nice backyard!

This pic - with the D-Rings just staring you in the face, makes my day!

BTW. what do I need to do to replace the Moab Jeeper windshield banner to a Jeep-CJ.com banner?

It's as easy as sending me one. I'd be happy to represent this site

Looks like alot of fun. It was snowing and 12deg here today.:notworthy:

It was over 50 degrees when we went. It's very rare to be down in Devil's Corral in mid-feb. Any amount of snow or ice makes it impossible to work the trail. It's been a very dry winter here :(

Great report and pics. It is funny how the pics rarely do justice. I find getting the camera low helps some, but it will never show the adrenaline rush. :D

Looks like a fun day :)
I agree pic's never look like the real thing :(

Always!!

This is why I want one of these: Contour | Products | Contour Plus

Roll bar, or hood mount, and check out the pics and vids when you're done.

There are cheaper ones, and GoPros are supposedly awesome too...

Anyhow, Nice trip report man.
