In a frame off rebuild for a long time...
I'm looking to upgrade the video card in my Emachine desktop.
Whats a good upgrade for a NVIDIA GeForce 7050/NVIDIA nForce 610i?
Other specs.
Intel Celeron CPU E1400@2.00 GHz
2.0 GB of ram (I should upgrade this sometime too)
32 bit Windows Vista / SP2

What slot for your video card? I'm having trouble finding info on the 7050.

I actually agree with susie. A lot of times you can get a good (not great, but good) brand new computer for $350 - $499. A good video card is going to run you almost $100.

What do you mean YOU ACTUALLY AGREE WITH ME? WTH? Like I dont know computers? HA! I'm famous on the internet :)

Seriously, I do know some about computers. And if I dont know, I have smart friends that do :) AND they would tell you to buy new!!!! Or build one.

 Sorry sus...I'm not buying or building a new one, this one is less than 1.5 years old (bought it a year ago last Xmas). It replaced one that I bought used about 7 years ago, and its as updated as a new computer. The baby calls that one hers now.
So why exactly do you recommend replacing it so soon? And I want specifics, since it has been a very good, if cheap, computer.

CJ, I have yet to break into it, I dunno what slots are there or available. sorry. Maybe this weekend I'll be able to tear into it.
