I just spoke with them on the phone and i am probably gonna buy a set of there spring under leafs

Does anyone have feedback , do they offer decent ride quality/ flex

thanx in advance

I've never owned any, but everything I've heard has been good.:chug:

I have Alcan springs and I love them. Very well-made product. Excellent service. The ride is good. They flex like crazy. If you really want flex get their Orbit Eye Bushings. Unfortunately they will require new spring mounts on the frame.

They make their springs custom so tell them what you want: firm ride, soft ride, lift.
The reason I got Alcam is because I broke a front spring last year. I ordered CJ springs from Quadratec. They didn't fit. Returned them for others. Still didn't fit. Then I went to Alcan. After making measurements they said I don't have CJ springs in my CJ. They were able to determine that the PO installed Scout 80 springs when a shackle reversal was installed.

sounds pretty good, do you run your jeep on the street too? just wondering about body roll issues to go along with the great flex

My Jeep is built for off-roading. I keep it street legal so I can get to the trails. I take curves slower than most vehicles because of body roll. I have no anti-sway bars and I think that's the real issue with my body roll. If I still had the anti-sway bars on I really don't think body roll would be an issue.

x 2 on Alcans. Have them in my YJ and could not be happier.

I have Alcan springs on my CJ. I ordered stock YJ arch springs for my SOA and had them off-set the center pin holes to stretch the wheelbase. Everything was built exactly as I asked and bolted right up.

The ride is great on the street (swaybar hooked up) and they have great flex. thumbupsmilie.gif

I know the price will vary, but what is a good estimate for a set of four on a CJ7 ? I would also be interested in their Orbit-Eye upgrade, but would also be curious on an estimated cost. They sure look like good springs with all I have been able to find on them.

Thanks,
Coach
