Build Thread Apocalyptic pestine '78 CJ7

Just bought a "lost titled" (ran VIN, not stolen), beat up, rusty 1978 blue CJ7 Renegade with an AMC 304 /3spd. Wanting to do a decent restomod, but life can happen right? I did work at a body shop in Portland, OR for a couple of years as lead detail, shop maintenance, parts guy, aka gopher (go fer this, go fer that). I spent a lot of time watching and asking body/painters questions, as well as watch how-to videos every day. Every Sunday is get something done on my Jeep day and the weather is only getting better. 'Ol blue needs a lot of love and I'm hoping this will be a father-son project. My Dad had a Levi (Edition) edition blue 76' with tan Levi (Edition) seats, white hard top, AMC 304 , 3spd and the infamous Warn M-8274 winch. Best childhood memories right there. I will need to find the factory hard doors and top in the future. I'm going to have a LOT of questions guys. Names Will, nice to meet you and be a part of the classic Jeep club
