How do you judge the correct asking price for your CJ7 ?
I would rather keep her but 2-3 JEEPS is too many to keep...

1981 CJ7 , 102,000 original miles , AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l , 4 speed stick , BDS 3 INCH LIFT , AUSSIE LOCKER in front , trac lock rear , 331 gears ,
NEW 33X1250 BFG'S , NEW RIMS , CB , ETC! ETC!

I have $10,000 in this JEEP but I know that I can't get that price...

Please post some pics so we can get a good look at it....you definately want it spotless to be in that price range...also look at collinsbrothers jeep site they sell some restored cjs at $30k

It's very regional. You'll get different selling ranges in different parts of the country.

Check your local Craigslist and see what they are going for n your area, That will give you a starting point.

COLLINS JEEPS are just so over priced IMO...

I was thinkin bout asking $9000.00 to start and negotiate from there but I also realize that It takes the right buyer to want an original CLASSIC CJ7 and will be prepared to wait for prospective buyers...

a clean one around my neck of the woods could go quick for 5,ish but to the right buyer that knows about jeep it could go for 7,ish.

a "hunting jeep" that needs a wash and a paintjob and maby a little rust may go arround 3,ish

A real clean jeep that has just had a deep restoration and is almost spotless could go for upwards of 10,

if your not in a hurry to sell it i would list it for a few thousand higher than you think it should be posted for and if it doesnt sell lower the price a bit

good plan. between the hard top and upgrades and how clean it is im not sure I would come off of 9,000 to much, if I did at all
