I mounted my rear shocks and noticed a similar stud, in front of the shock. What is it used for?

I am also having trouble mounting the crossmember. Do I have the wrong one? Am I doing something wrong? Should I slot the holes in the corssmember to make it fit?

You feedback is appreciated.

Looks like someone added another shock mount to the frame.

Your jeep is way too new for me, I don't have one of those fancy skidplates. I would suppose if four of the holes lined up and you only had to notch two, I don't think it would be that big of a deal. Just use a bigger washer.

I agree, elongate the holes. Only four bolts held the crossmember on, when I got the Jeep.
