For this edition of Vintage Vault we will show you a few color photos from the 1973 Baja 500. Why? Well, because we can. And honestly, who doesn’t like looking at vintage shots of vintage Jeeps going fast through the desert? Here, in a photo shot by Gerry Stiles, we see two hardy souls pounding through Baja in a prepped Flattie. And by prepped we mean it has a bare minimum of equipment to get from here to there in a 500 mile off-road race.
