Just got a 5 inch pedestal tachometer. Too tight to mount to the column. Was thinking of mounting it centered on the dash pad. Is there anything for a screw to mount to in the pad? Has anyone done this? I was thinking about putting drywall anchors in. Thoughts and suggestions please!

if you wheel I don't think it will hold in the pad. I would remove and see if you can find somewhere better.

It may work, but I like to know it works. Someone here may know more though. I don't have one.

Good point. It will be on road only, but the ride is super rough!

Anyone mount a pedestool tach, I need ideas!

Can you spin the cup, so the mount would be on top and then mount it on the bottom of the dash?

That's the answer bedneck! Thanks!
