Has anyone used an auxiliary fuse block for all the electrical extras. I'm thinking about adding one to clean up my wiring. Right now thinking about an 8 port block fed directly from the battery with a breaker between. Any good ideas on manufactures or are they all pretty much the same(i assume you get what you pay for).

I used a Painless Wiring add-on fuse block with the ATO blade fuses on my 1966 ford f100. Worked out great for the extra circuits. Made a laminated card for fuse id and position. The o.e.m. wiring was perfect so no need to rewire. mike

A second block is a great idea. Only wish I had done it........
I would suggest using the same type of fuses as the OEM panel does, just for the sake of KISS.

Where are you going to mount this? They make a water proof (more like resistance) fuse block if your going to mount it under the hood. Inside under the dash may not need that, depends on how you drive it! :o

PB, I was thinking of mentioning that.Blue Sea a manuf. of marine electrical supplys has a line of fuse blocks and buss bars ,etc that could be used on a offroad vehicle subject to wet conditions. Very nice quality but pricey and coast guard approved. I have used Blue Sea on my own boat and feel it is superior product. mike

I used auto reset circuit breakers and Bosh relays for everything but the heater fan. I would post pictures but my gallery is not working right at this moment.

This is what most of the breakers that I've used look like:

This is what the average Bosch Relay looks like:
