OEM? What is the issue with the factory one that would make it worth it to buy one of those at their high prices out of curiosity? I never had a problem with the stock throw on my ax15 conversion.

I plan to install the Hurst Mopar replica Pistol Grip shifter on my AX15 just because I love how they look. Jegs and Summit racing sell them both.

Does that involve replacing the whole shifter assembly or just the grip on the factory one.?

I am cutting the original shift towards the base so I can weld on a tab to bolt the Hurst shifter onto it. I just love that shifter from my younger days when i used to race my friends 1968 Charger R/T. Since then i have wanted one in a Jeep.
