Build Thread Back into Jeeps, new(to me)CJ5!

Hello all CJ fans! Always loved Jeeps, my grandfather bought a new "83 CJ7 in "82 and I was hooked! We had some other rusty old ones over the years, been a long time since I've had one. Just picked up this "77 Levi (Edition) 's(was told it had Renegade decals when new)from a friend, VERY solid overall but needs work. AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l ,3spd,manual everything...Engine was just done, but I want to reseal the Transmission and Transfer Case next. Overall I'll be adding a mild lift, fresh tires, some other period correct bolt ons as time goes by. Paint is at the end of the rainbow. I have an 8year old daughter and she loves Jeeps also, I think we'll have a good time working on and driving it .
