Anyone have pics of the correct way to mount The BDS front and rear shackle kits? I have been looking at a lot of pics of cj's with the "boomerang" style shackles and have seen them mounted 4 different ways. I feel like I may have installed mine wrong due to the shackle spacers have no clearance with the mil wrap of the new springs. I mounted the shackles with the narrow end at the springs. and pointed toward the center of the jeep.

There is really no right way to mount them on a cj, people only use them on cj's because they like the way they look.
They were designed for the rear of yj's so they would not hit the rear crossmember when the spring was compressed. cj's don't have that problem.
On a yj the v would point to the center of the jeep, short side up.

EDIT: my bad, most people run the short side up to try to help with shackle inversion BUT on the rear of a yj (where they belong) the long side goes up.
