YJ seats would probably be your best bet for a stock fit/ look. The early 90's YJ's had cloth seats, that were the same frame as the CJ seats, but reclined and were cloth.
If you're looking for something more comfortable, you could probably put about anything in there, but might require some drilling in the seat or the riser.
Quite a few people have put Fiero seats in CJ's because they have speakers built into the headrests, but I don't recall if there was any modification involved in mounting them.
I went through this ordeal a when I replaced the factory ones. Every set of yj seats I found where either needed to be recovered $$$ or also needed new springs $$$… I got impatient and bought the reclining bestops . Found a good price off Ebay. They are vinyl of some sorts but one could throw some covers on them . That way you could wash your covers and save the seats…. I know, its a jeep but still I like to sit in a semi clean seat.
