This is probably one of the most asked and discussed question that most CJ owners ask. Ask five different people and your most likely to get five different answers.

As for my opinion, I would say Old Man Emu YJ springs.

In the leaf spring world you pay for what you get. OME and BDS put money and time into there products so we have to pay more but they are worth it.

And, actually the OME kits are a little more expensive but aren't priced out of this world...

Well, you asked for the best lift kit, not the best priced lift kit...
And, actually the OME kits are a little more expensive but aren't priced out of this world...
You also need to look very closely at what is included. Kits like Rubicon Express, OME and to a certain extent BDS often inlcude most of the parts you need others dont
It is the little things like brake lines, u bolts shackles and bushes, spring plates etc that can cause a cheap kit to become very expensive very quickly
