Hallo together,

my rebuild is almost done Winch and Bumper is left.
And I installed a Sunrider Top, the part at front is okay, but the rear is not getting tight, when I get sun, the square bar is falling off. Also the Softtop seams to be too long at the left and right end and does not fit.
What did you do to fix it, or Does anybody have a softtop that really fits (front and Rear)
I have the little Problem, that I cannot adjust my front/windshield, because of the rollcage.

Thanks a lot

Frank

Sounds like you have to fix the cage. I think you are going to have to send in some pics for this one, and add some more detailed info.

YUP-Pictures would be best here.

My first guess is that the rear bow needs to be extended out a bit. The rear bow does have an adjustment here.

:agree:

Hm
thr rear bow has 4 holes to use, I am already in the last one. and making another hole is not useful, because the bow is pushing the top backwards, but I need to get it higher.

Pull the bow out till the spring loaded buttons are sitting on top of the tube.

What do you mean: spring loaded buttons
I havea sunrider Top there is the Belt-Rail attachment system.
Thanks
Frank

That belt-rail system is a new one on me. Anyway, This might also require adjusting the windshield to tilt forward as another thought. This might even require getting the top modified if you are out of any more adjustment.

Talk'n about the rear bow adjustment.

I saw the hardware of pavement ends tops. They use two bows going straight up.
I am thinking of two extra pieces of aluminum pipe that push the rear bow up.
So the corner skin is becomming more tight.
What do you think about that?

Thanks
Frank

Well, when you are sure that you have assembled it correctly, Then go ahead and make your changes. Send in some pics so we can see what you have done.
