i have a 76 CJ5 project with a fiberglass tub i just traded a 4 wheeler for. i cant get the front blinker to work on the passenger side. it works in the rear, and the left side works fine. how does the blinker ground? to the grill? and how bout the side marker? this thing is an electrical nightmare:bang:

The lights are all grounded to the frame. This is a bit of a problem with a steel tub but glass can be a real challenge. do the parking lights come on??

the parking lights on the left side come on, as well as the rear right, but tonight i turned on the right blinkers, and both the rear taillights and running lights started blinking. frustrating

find out where the lights are grounded and clean the connections up. It may be a good idea to run wire from the ground for the lights to the neg battery terminal.

I had the same problem with my 86.
I suck at electrical, so my mechanic fiddled around, i think he jumped a wire at the harness down the steering column.
One hitch, now when i hit the brakes the front turn signal acts like a brake lite. I've been too lazy to do any more.

this is just pissing me off. i think im gonna make my own harness for the trun signals.
