body lift

Hello I have a 1967 Cj and I was wondering if anyone had put a body lift on a jeep this year model or older and what was the dificulties if there were any. I am looking to do like a 1 inch lift plus probably a 4 inch lift. I can do the 4 inch lift, but have never had anything to due with a body lift. I am just thinking it might give a little more room for tire flex. Thanks

On 71 and earlier cjs have the pedals through thebfloor to the frame making body lifts a bad idea due to the amount of mods to get the pedals to work properly

5 inches is a whole lot of lift on an 80 inch wheel base. You may find the 4 to be plnety.
