Brake Booster

Need help installing a brake booster on my 1975 CJ5 - I have a fiberglass body and was wondering what others have done to mount the booster. I have the two studs there for the master cylinder now. I know I will have to drill the four new holes. Did you make a backer plate or just large washers? Do I just remove the studs that are there and do not replace them?

It depends on your body. Mine has a steel plate molded into the firewall there. Check your firewall with a magnet for a plate. If you have one I'd just run the bolts through, if you don't have a plate built in I would use a backing plate.
