As some are aware, I have replaced the master cylinder & both front calipers. Now, other things are letting loose, such as hoses, brake lines, etc. I want to order the brake line kit & the front hoses from the frame to the calipers from Morris 4X4. Should I replace the proportioning valve? Are there any parts/hangers that I should replace on the frame that would hold brake lines, hoses, etc? I hate starting a job & not having everything to complete it

Do you mean your steel lines are shot? If so, I would use the stainless steel lines If I were going to keep the CJ, If not, go for the cheaper steel ones. I would save the 100+ bucks and leave the pro valve alone, provided you can get the lines off of it ok. They seldom go bad. Unless the hangars are rotted out at the junction for the soft lines, they should be just fine. You may want to considder doing the rear brake cylinders too.

If you plan on doing it next week, go out every day this week and spray every fitting, bolt, clamp, etc. with rust penetrant. It will make your job much easier.

Yes, I'm going to replace the wheel cylinders & get the SS lines. Thanks for the info on spraying down all the fittings. Not sure when he change over will take place, but I'll keep everything sprayed up.
Thanks guys.

I just got these 380206436523 from Old Time Parts on Ebay. They customize for your needs. The whole set was 39.95.

Hope this helps,
Michael
