Hi all quick question for you, which type of brake flare do CJ7 have on metal brake pipes that go into rear wheel cylinders? single flare ? thx

All CJ's and most autos use the inverted 45 degree double flair. Never use single flair on brake lines! ;) I wouldn't even use a single flair on a fuel line. Too easy to crack the expansion area.

(There is another semi popular (mostly European) din/iso flare that is becoming more common now but was not used on CJ's.)

:agree: :notworthy: 110%

Also-Don't try and use aircraft fittings(AN)on your brake lines. They are 37* angle and will not seal.

LG is AMC 150 % correct!!! AN fittings are for low pressure lines (<400 PSI) and mostly used for braided fuel, return lines, coolant and oil lines.

BE SAFE!
