Brake Line Recommendations

I need to replace the two rear brakelines that run from the combination valve to the cylinders on my '84 CJ8 drum brakes. I tried the bend it yourself method with a line from OReilly's. Frankly, it doesn't look like the way I would like it to look and I'm a little afraid that it will fracture over time. Does anybody have any recommendations on stainless braided flex lines or any other way to do it? All the ones I see on line look like they have the wrong fittings.

when I did mine I bought a coil of brake line and a tube bender and double flair kit. and crawled under there and started building a system
do not put flexible line to replace hard line, it will wear and fail, that is why they use hard line

Me too. It was surprisingly easy. I did all my own brakelines, fuel lines, and clutchlines. I now carry a flair kit, bender, cutter, and several lengths/diameters of tubing and fittings onboard the Jeep as part of my "trail fix it kit"

Scott, they make 2 types of benders
on is like a wheel with a handle
the other is a spring you put over the wire
both have their place and are useful, just remember you cannot use the spring type after the ends are on
and if you only get 1 get the wheel type
PS, stainless is way overrated, copper lines will outlast you Jeep
