Greetings all
jeep is only used for off road

I have an 84 CJ7 that has been upgraded to 1 ton axels, and need some help on the brake system. I have installed a new booster, new master cylinder is 1" bore size, new brake lines, caliper and pads. I have bled the brakes 5 times so far and still have little to no brakes, if I pump the brake pedal 4 or 5 times I get a decent pedal that holds, until I release it then have to repeat process.

I am thinking of upgrading to the Wilwood dual master cylinder brake pedal, with the 1" bore. I have seen this brake setup in action on a rig with Rockwell axles and they work very well.

My question is: does any one know how this will work on my rig.

You still have air in the system. When a new master is installed they must be bled on the bench. Plus if the prop valve has lost fluid, it probably has air in it also. They both can be tough to get the air out. A pressure bleeder might help if don't want to tear it down, but I have never used one.

Disc or drum brakes? If drum, Make sure the brakes are adjusted right.

Have you done a pressure bleed?
X2 on make'n sure the parts you have are compatible.
