So let's pretend.....

Let's pretend the economy is great, you boss just gave you a raise, and your bank account is in the black. You're driving down the road in your old truck, and the engine blows up in front of the Jeep dealership. Out front they have three new Jeep Wrangler JK's for sale; a basic X package, a Rubicon package, and a Rubicon outfitted with a bunch of MOPAR parts like a a winch bumper with Warn winch, rock sliders, corner protection and rear bumper. Knowing you could roll the extra cost of the accessories into your monthly loan payment would you spring for the built Rubicon, the basic Rubicon, or the X package?

Yes you could go buy something different, a Dodge Neon, AMC Pacer, etc, but the question is would you buy the built rig if possible and have it done and ready to go, or buy the base model to build up?

Buy a JK, your kidding right? I would walk home and start looking for a real jeep, a cj.
But if I had to buy a jk :barf:I would buy the stock rubi. and add what I wanted myself instead of the cheap mopar stuff.

I own a jk rubi, but I added sliders, armor, and tire carrier and stuff. The Rubi is a damn nice package for wheeling, Jeep got it right with the package, all you need is a few inches of lift and to winch and armor up. It has a 4 low, 4.10 gears, discos, lockers, damn nice.
I really like mine, HOWEVER

IT IS NOT A CJ6 , and we all know CJ6 's make the world turn

I think I'd buy the stock Rubi and finish it up my self.....But then again, if I had that kinda money laying around I'd rather just build a jeep from scratch and save 20 grand+
