C-7 FI problems

I've found 2-CJ-7s. I has the usual Carter carb problems. The other has a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l w/ Tech II FI. She'll idle, but dies when a load is applied. Any ideas what the problem might be? The owner sent the coil pack(?) back to the mfg & was told it was ok. Both these 7s are otherwise mechanically sound, but have a lot of rot. Frames are in good shape. It's a pkg deal, both or none. Just trying to figure out how much to offer.

Hey CD! Glad to have you back!

It sounds like the typical clogged injector syndrome. Did the 7 run before? Has it set and the fuel turn to lacquer? The TB injectors can be clean pretty easily (or replaced).
