Cardone Steering Box from O'reilly

So need a new steering gear box.

Looking at this: Cheap and in stock.

Realize get what you pay for... but a little strapped for cash right now...

What do you all think? Any helpful reviews / stories?

Would, but i am a very un patient man... Without a vehicle is the pits... my old CJ is the only "registered" vehicle I have to drive right now...

Thats a pretty good price for the box. I paid over $450 for my PSC box, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat, even now.

(And I can't beat that price with shipping anyways)

I figured not, so didn't try, plus as stated, I'm in a slight rush...

Would love to go play in the snow this weekend, but we'll have to see how my fixing goes tonight...

I have it with power steering, it hasn't leaked yet, everything seems fine

i work at oreillys and bought one for mine thats manual steering. havent had a problem yet.

Bought it ans installed it. Got a little tinkering to do before i test everything out

Only almost lost 1 finger getting pitman arm off. So was a good time...

I work at orielly too and would have to go with it. We sell the out of those> I would know since I do the stocking at my store.

I just installed one on my 1980 CJ7 with power steering . No leaks or strange sounds and straight forward install with rented tools from O'riely's
