What do you guys think of the ones that go under the spring pack.
 
If you have to use them, use the steel ones.
IMO your better off staying with shorter shackles so you don't need the shims.
 
Got me some new +4 shims and was looking the thing over and it already has +4 shims but...................... the PO put them in backwards.
I will turn them around and see how it does.If it is ok I hope to get a refund on the new ones

Try removing them entirely first. If you turn the 4 around it will be like an 8 degree move the way I see it and that's along way to go.
 
Turns out it had +2 shims in backwards.Turned right made a huge differance.
Going to see what the shop will charge to recheck the settings now.
 
A piece of string, a level, and an angle finder, and your are in business:D
