so ive recently notice(like 6+ months ago) that my voltage gauge was staying at 14.5ish volts. notice it started coming down a bit. After i left my key on and killed my battery.. Charged it on the charger/tester we got at the dealership(Battery is fine 780 of 800CCA). Replaced the Alternator and its back up again:confused: And ideas of anything that could cause it to stay high, almost like it fully charging at all times?

14.5 volts is what it should be at, mine is at 15 sometimes. Leaving the key on for an extended period can kill an ignition control module. If it still runs fine after that you are in good shape though.

it seemed lower when i got it but that was prior to the new battery last year..just thought it was wierd...so just above 14 volts= good...cool thanks:chug:
