I am considering using Chevy Leaf Springs for my SOA conversion. I am aware that they are a couple inches longer than the YJ but feel that they will handle the extra wieght of the 5.3 and Dana 60, Corp. 14 axles. I am also hoping to get a little more articulation out of them. Has anyone done this and if so, did it prove to be a good set up? I am wanting to use the Blue Torch Fab full width bumper set up as well. Not sure what kind of problems I will have as far as proper shackles and mounting points and would like to hear anyone willing to give me free advice on this. Thanks

How much weight were these springs made to hold up? They may be too stiff for a CJ.

I'm not sure at this point but if they are to stiff I think that it is fairly easy to take a leaf out? I need to look into the spring load.....

Thanks Old Dog. Lots of spring info.
