CJ-8 Scorpion Edition?

Hi all I've been lurking for sometime (never had any reason to post / join until now).

Trying to see if anyone has any information on a "Scorpion Edition" Scrambler by chance? As I've never heard of such and neither has anyone else that I have spoken with about it either? Therefore I just thought that I would see if anyone out there knew anything about any such edition by some fluke? Although my guess is that this was some dealer prep item but who knows?

Anyways, this guy in Dallas has been trying to sell this thing on C-List for a while now and I keep seeing it and it is pretty clean looking (and the price keeps going down). And well, you know, so goes the disease, right? But, I have never heard of a Scorpion Edition at all??

EDIT: Hmm, the link seems to have a mind of it's own! In that, THIS IS NOT MY JEEP, I REPEAT NOT MINE SO PLEASE DON'T ASK! However, when I put the link in it seemed normal enough? But when I see it posted up it says, well, you know what it says! However, I'm not breaking board rules here as I can assure this is not my Jeep (I live outside Baton Rouge and this thing is in Dallas)! In my opinion, thats a lot of money for a vehicle that old. It was probably that price when it was new.

Yeah, he appears to be a little off on the price (and I'm not sure what his new asking price is even - one place it's $11K and $12K in yet another). And in as much as I wish he were right about what it's worth, but $25K?? Well, let's just say that I think not! At least not that is, in this uhh, O'Bama Economy anyways. (Heck if that were the case I'd sell mine and fast too)!

Anyways, I just wanted to make sure that this wasn't some kind of "Super Rare - Ultra Well Kept Jeep Secrets" or something? That is, the "Scorpion Edition" and all? But it is already starting to sound like my suspicions were probably right afterall!

I'd say its a dealer option. And you are not ever going to get out the amount of money you put in to a Jeep. I wish him luck.
