CJ power steering gearbox question

Will the pressure and return lines only go on one way? I bought a new CJ gearbox and it looks like one has a 16 mm fitting and one has a 18 mm fitting. I assume the pressure line goes on the foward hole?

I switched from manual so I don't have anything to go by.
