CJ Roll Over

Wow, that happened pretty fast! Glad to see he was OK. I think the spotter deserves some responsibility for that one. He should have told him to back up a bit after the front wheel went over the rock.

was it me or did he keep stalling out on that? A lower gear might have been more controllable in that situation.

Yes, he had a little trouble working the clutch

Lesson learned - DO NOT GO SIDEWAYS on a hill.

A little gas and a hard left and he would have been golden. :(

It's amazing how easy it is to tip one over sometimes. :D

That hurt !
Too many spotters causes frustration, confusion.

That's one of the reasons I like my automatic Transmission in my CJ7 .Just step on the skinny pedal and go,no clutch engagement issues. But yes,DEFINATLY, NEVER sideways on a steep hill.Seems torque and flex compound the problem.I wonder if a right turn would have come out differently?

I wonder if a right turn would have come out differently?

It sure would have...applied with the proper throttle.

Edit: Actually, a right would have probably gotten him in more trouble, hard left on the wheel with some skinny pedal would have shifted his COG and probably kept him upright and pointed downhill.
