CJ/YJ spring shackle review

I've never heard of many people using those type. I personally don't care for the design due to the round sleeve center that can act more like a pivot point than to keep the sides parallel. And it does give you 4 bend points per shackle that aren't normally there. Though it is only giving a 1/2" of lift I'm not sure if 1/4" sides are enough to resist bending when on an off camber hillside. But I have no personal experience of them to offer.

Good points. Thanks for the input.

I believe thats the same shackles you get with their 4 1/2" lift. If so there are alot of people running them with no problems.
They just look kinda strange.:D

Lots of vehicles have shackles that shape. All four on a FSJ are that shape.
