There is one in the Dallas area CL for $500, non running but the body looks great!

yea its pretty much a tug truck for heavy equipment, some shipping yards have CJ10s to move containers around from the contaner yard to the boat.

absolutly ugly truck tho

I drove one in the Air Force when I towed equipment on the flight lines. It had a Peugot inline 6 motor with an automatic three speed and a Dana 300 the was perminently in low gear so we could only do 28mph. I loved driving it all the time. I actually made my dash board wiring diagram from that vehicle because the dash is identical to my 80 CJ5

Wow- you could do some crazy mad max type project with that thing-mean!

Saw this a couple years ago here in town. Never did figure out if it was just the cab and front clip off a CJ-10a or a full rebuild, but it sure was nice looking. All the Orange you see is Rhino-Lining...

there is a guy in Poway with about 3 of the cj10s, all ex Air Force plane tugs
kinda neet
A regular cj10 was a 3/4 ton truck shipped to Austrailia and a cjv35 was a special order jeep for the military
I have seen a CJ11 reference, but only once so I do not know if it is reliable. I do not consider it reliable till I find it in 3 or more places
funny thing is a CJ4 , so they claim only 1 was made, but on the cj3 (or is it the CJ2a } page there are pictures of 3 different varieties of it being made for testing by the military. Now remember the technology that went into teh 4 showed up in the CJ5 and it's military equivalent. Now if they had made several, I guess that means 2 or more, of three different kinds, does that not mean that there would have been at least 6 of them made. And would that also mean that if the guy in Ohio who has the CJ4 , or the civilian model of the beast, have a 7th or better production number of it?

Jeep made a lousy company to study, they left so little behind for records it seems we are doomed to have questions, and urban legend. I find that part of the most fascinating part of the history of the make. I often have to swing my head wide to figure something out or just to catch this or that.
