cj7 3 tire carrier brackets

i have been looking for about 7 months the 3 brackets that hold the original spare tire carrier. no luck. does anyone have any idea where i can find them or do any of u jeepers have it and wanna get rid of them please help me out. also i have military humvee tires 36". will that be a problem for the carrier? thanks a million

Yes, it will be a problem. I have 33 x 10.5 tires on 7.5 (maybe 8 inch), stock wheels. I am certain anything larger will not fit the carrier due to the backspacing, the tire hitting the bumper, and the sheer weight on the stock mounting points of the tub.

Bumper mount carriers became popular for a reason, The stock carrier has definite limits.

thanks for the info. i was getting ready to bid on a factory tire carrier on ebay with no brackets thinking i could get them somewhere else. most def have to look for swing out carriers with new bumper. c-ya
