Hey all,

In my CJ7 I have a 727 (out of a wagoneer), stock Dana 300 , and a 4" BDS lift. I hadn't had any rubbing issues until recently (the suspension finally settled in after install). I am looking at clocking rings but I cant tell if I would be better off clocking up, or down. If I clock up, the output yoke rotates away from the Transmission and could potentially put the shaft next to the Transmission , whereas if I clock down, the shaft rotates to a position where it would be below the pan. Has anyone done this? Any ideas?

After some head scratching and some eyeballed engineering, I decided to order an "up" clocking ring. It looks like it will move it out of the way of the pan. I will keep you posted.
