CJ7 rear wiring harness

I looked around for a rear wiring harness diagram that shows what each of the wires are for. I have them labelled 1 thru 5 in my diagram. There are 2 white (1 striped), 2 green (1 striped) and a pink.

I think in the mix there would be tail lights (when headlights or parking lights are on), brake lights, LH Signal, RH, signal and fuel, reverse lights. My guess looking at what i marked up in my attachment is

#1 White with black stripe - LH Signal
#2 Green - brake, parking and headlight light
#3 Green with black stripe - reverse
#4 White - RH Signal
#5 Pink - Fuel

I had everything working but when i put my dash back together my driver side signal lights doesn't work, lights when headlights are on don't work on either side and driver side brake lights don't work and i'm trying to trace back what they all are.....very frustrating!!

A ground wire should help here. The rear lights are grounded thru the frame which is a poor design. Either that or you are missing something in your other connections. Using a test light would indicate just where the issue is.
