Just dodged a bullet on this one. I’m sure most of us have seen the TV commercial 100,000 times for the folding cooler. I thought that might be a good upgrade for my Jeep because I don’t need ice and can fold it up when empty.
Just prior to ordering I decided to read the reviews. They were so pathetic that some were funny.
Most of the reviews said it was basically an overpriced styrofoam cooler, painted black! Slightly harder than styrofoam.
What they say in the commercial isn’t the same as the instructions! They advise to use ice! Then fill any voids with towels etc..
Note that since it folds, it does not hold water... melted ice is water! LOL
The few good reviews were from people who like the idea but haven’t actually tried it yet.
I’ll stick with my 100 year old Coleman & quit trying to be stylish.
