I'm really liking the Moabs, but I don't know of anyone around here with them in a CJ. Anybody runnin these in their CJ? Specifically a 7? I have a couple questions for someone with using them.

Thanky!!

Rob

I just looked at them on line and they look like nice seats. Wondering why the cost varied so much. Looking like from about $240 - 480 approximately depending on where purchased. My originals came low back and a few years later I got 1 Best Top high back to try. After several months 1 of the knobs for back tilt came off and I called best top about a fix and they sent me a brand new seat so I put that on the passenger side and I've been real happy with them. The original BT seat still had a recliner knob on the other side. I would try the Corbeau.

According to dimensions available online, they appear to be almost 3" wider in the seat area than stock - that's gonna crowd a console. I was looking to see just how wide they really are. Also my seat risers are :dung: so I was going to fab a pair up out of angle iron. Don't plan on either seat titling forward - most likely won't run a back seat, just set it up to haul the dogs around. And that's gonna be tight as well sticking two of em together in the back LOL.

I don't have a center console. Just measured mine. 21 1/2 to maybe 22 in middle of the seat at widest part. No idea what the originals were. I have a set of steel 1/2 doors and they are right up to the doors on each side. I'm sure they have that all figured out when they designed them.

I'm running them in a CJ5 (with a console) and they fit great. I really like mine.
