Coupling ?

Im about to order and install one of these Morris 4x4 Center-Steering Shaft Coupling Kit With Power Steering
(the one now has zip ties on it trying to remove the slack) Has anyone installed one? I wonder if it would be easier to just buy the whole shaft but I dont wanna if I dont have to......

I've never used that kit, but I have had mine apart. It's pretty easy to do.

I replaced mine, it's about a 10 minute job. It took longer to clean the old grease and out of the cup. I doubt you need the whole thing just the rebuild kit should work unless you broke the cup.

Thats great news man thankyou. Well the cup looks good to me but the whole boot is missing so I figure for 36 bucks ill order the whole thing to be safe. Thankya!

Just did one on my jeep this weekend and it was really easy. Had to unbolt the steering box and slide it forward a little to get the shaft to drop. I let the box rest on the bar below it. Really easy to do. The shop wanted to charge 140$. After doing it I can see they were try to make some money off me. Can not say all be using them for much.
