Creaking noises cj7 4.5 " lift

Ever since I put in a rubicon express extreme duty 4.5" lift in my 84cj7 I hear creaking in the suspension when going over uneven ground. Is this normal?

Did the bushings get greased when installed? If not that may be the source of the noise. I now if mine get dry they make noise. That is if you have Polly bushings.

What Purple said or the bolts are too tight on the shackles. I tighten mine until they just start to squeeze the bushings - make sure you have lock nuts or something to keep them in place.

I got the same noise... things you might want to check:

1.- Leaf springs not properly lubricated.
2.- Exhaust system hanger and its rubber pad are dirty or worn.
3.- Leaf spring bushings not properly lubricated or overtightened.
4.- Right hip prosthetic implant not properly greased (well, in my very specific case maybe).
5.- Body to frame rubbing against each other (body mounts).
6.- Do all your bodymount bolts have nuts in them (my Cj lost a couple a while back and that made the CJ squeak a lot).
