The crossmembewr that holds up the front of the fuel tank......
Anyone ever seen a repop and if so where?
Can make, would like to buy.

Never seen a repo for the frame parts. Have you checked the junk yards?

Maybe easier to cut one out of an old frame than make.

In the same boat right now. The only repo piece I have seen is the back frame plate. I have to make the cross member for mine.

I'm thinking that it really doesn't need to be a full on crossmember. Maybe just a strap from one side rail to the other. Once thats in you can gusset with a vertical piece to help support the weight. The real crossmember is ahead of it near the shock mounts.

Around here in salt country. Nobody will cut a frame apart if it isn't rusted up

So If I fab up a new tank member and the crossmember in fornt of it (shock mount crossmember), do you think there would be a market for them? I can do a one off but for the trouble may as well make a few. These would be much more substantial than OEM.

First I would make one and get it on the Internet with pics etc.

You never know what might happen.
