Misc. dash Holes Bolt

I have been looking for the dash mounting holes locations

83 CJ5 that the dash is going to be full custom

the dash 57.25 long and 9.75 wide

I can not find a a document with the bolt locations

top holes
1 5/8 10 5/8 15 3/16 or 15 1/8 19 5/8 28 5/8 37 5/8 46 5/8 55 5/8 they are ran across 5/8 horizonal line

the side holes are at vertical line at .7280 from the side the 3/8 hole are center at .5130 bottom and 4.7680 bottom

want to know if they are right or does anyone have the blue print of the dash

i left the windshield 1/2 bolts hole off

Somewhere on here is a CAD drawing of the dash........ try the search and see if you can find it. I know it here somewhere

got the das back from Microform in Sacramento (916) 419-0580

only item is you have dxf file to have them cut it out

dash looks good and fits nice
the only item was i put the side bolts in the wrong place easy fix

Your dash looks like a busy one. No speakers ?

on speakers going put the in the corners of the roll cage
if you look at the pdf it tells what all the holes are
going to put radios and gps system up high plus i want add 6 inches to roll cage height

Had to get my chrome book out, could not see it or open on my iPad. Very nice dash !

i wanted to have it set up to tell me
winch on
alt light
oil light
engine light injection system to trouble shoot
temp light

then i put gauges
Tach
Air pressure
oil
fuel pressure
volt

then i add micro switches
12 volt for lockers
each locker has its own switch to engage locker but the 12 power has to be turned on first
12 volt winch
then that lights the dash light plus sends power to to plugs and on switched

i have to drill a hole for the compressor light above the switch nest to gauge

the big hole is for two fuse blocks i put then were you can see and get to them
i made a cover to make it look clean and easy to remove if i need to get to wires

the little hole is a glove box

the sides of the dash is were I'm going to try to put the roll cage the hide it behind the dash for more leg room

found errors the hard way

1 the rocker switches hole were to big and to close
the fix was to make rocker holes smaller and put more space between them
2 the left side were wiper switch is to close to the light
the fix was to move the light and switch to gain more room
3 the left side were head light is to close to the light plug would not fit
the fix was to move the light and switch to gain more room
4 the left side gauge was not the same size as the crown
the fix was to make bigger hole and move down
5 the gauge next to steering open was wrong size
the fix was to make bigger hole and realign the gauges
6 the rocker switches all to high
the fix was to move all the switches down
7 the opening steering will was off
the fix was to center the opening better (my F up)
8 the 2 bolts on the side were not lining up
the fix was to now the holes on both sides
9 need to check heater cables fit before i send it out to have them make me a new one



so now its going back to have a new cut out due to how much need to be changed
second time is the charm

got the holes all done on my dash for switches and gauges
had to change the Colum hole and move the switches , so i had more room

but its all good now
