So my red dash has two cracks and mixed with old and brittle...

The shop working on my Jeep said they can get a tan pad and have it re-dyed to match my Garrett interior...

Anyone do this? Or know much about it?

I don't know about dying, I know that there are some really good spray cans of paint designed especially for plastics and fabrics. They do a really good job of changing or giving the item a new look again. I would think dying would be a really good way to change the color.

SEM Brand vinyl dye is available at any auto body supply co, it is used by shops world wide to recolor plastic and vinyl, works great and come in many colors.

This is what I used to change the inside of my truck from brown to blue and it worked great.
